• Use of the services of Perfeq Pets will be deemed as acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
• Perfeq pets will meet with the client to determine the nature of the service required and to quote the price for these services.
• On acceptance of a booking a 10% deposit will be required to secure the booking.
• Full payment for services will be required immediately on completion of the contract.
• All cancellations need to be made in writing 21 days or more before the start of the contract where deposit will be refunded in full. For cancellations less than 21 days prior to the contract commencing the fee will be forfeited.
• Travelling expenses may be charged if excessive mileage is required at a rate of 26p per mile – this will be discussed at the initial consultation.
• Should a pet sitter be taken ill or injured and be unable to complete the contract, Perfeq Pets will do its best to make alternative arrangements.
• Should Perfeq Pets need to cancel a contract we will endeavour to give a minimum of 14 days notice and the deposit will be returned in full.
• The client must complete a booking form giving full details of the animals involved prior to commencement of the contract.
• The pet sitter will carry out the responsibilities agreed with the client for the agreed fee and keep the house clean and tidy to a reasonable standard. (Please note that the pet sitter is not a cleaner).
• The pet sitter will not leave the house for more than five hours at one time except in the performance of his/her duties unless authorised to do so by the client.
• Perfeq Pets or its agents will not be responsible for any loss or damage to a client’s property, however caused.
• If problem or an emergency arising the pet sitter will contact the client, or the client’s nominated representative if unable to contact the client.
• In the event of a pet becoming ill, Perfeq Pets will retain the right to contact the client’s vet directly. The client will be responsible for any costs incurred, including mileage to and from the surgery at a rate of 26p per mile.
• The client should inform Perfeq Pets of any change in the booking dates as soon as possible to ensure that the dates are available.
• An adequate supply of food must be provided for all pets for the duration of the booking. If this is not possible for any reason then funds should be provided for the purchase of animal feed at the start of the booking. Mileage may be charged for the purchase of food at a rate of 26p per mile.
• All Bank holidays and New Years Eve, Christmas Eve, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday will be charged at double the normal rate.
• Perfeq Pets reserve the right to refuse services for bitches in season, puppies under the age of 4 months and dogs with aggression problems.
• Bitches in season, unneutered dogs under the age of 9 months and dogs with aggression problems cannot be accepted on group walks.
• Giant breed dogs over 5.5 stone in weight cannot be accepted on group walks.
